Longview Farm has been in our family since 1957. Its story is woven into the farmhouse, the fields, and the people who have called it home.

In 1957, Raymond and Manetta moved their Holstein herd here and named the place Longview Farm. They restored buildings, raised six children, and built a life around the land.

Welcoming you to the farmhouse is our way of sharing a little of that life.

Read a little more of our history

The property’s story reaches back to Peter Scott’s settlement in 1883, with the Hermanson family later expanding it. After the Second World War, Raymond rented a farm along Highway 35 before he and Manetta moved here in 1957.

Their dairy operation and care for the farm became part of the family’s story. Today, Longview Farm carries that history forward as a place to slow down and spend time together.

How many guests can stay?

The farmhouse accommodates up to six overnight guests. The published limit is six from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., with no more than twelve visitors during the day. Parties and large gatherings aren’t permitted for farmhouse stays.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 4 p.m., and check-out is at 10 a.m. The person booking must be at least 25 years old; photo identification may be requested.

Can we bring our pet?

Yes, with advance arrangements. The published pet fee is $75 plus applicable fees and taxes. Contact us before booking to discuss your pet and confirm the current terms.

How does a private reservation work?

Send us your dates and guest count using the request above, or contact us by phone or email. We’ll discuss availability, pricing, payment, and cancellation terms with you. Sending a request doesn’t reserve dates or confirm a booking.
